History of Silver Dollar
Silver Dollar Pawn Exchange has been in business serving the Meridian area and surrounding counties for over thirty years. In June 1980 Curtis Thompson Sr. started out in the coin business, Silver Dollar Coin Exchange, in what is now the post office building in Marion, MS. He got into the pawn business in 1982 and the business has been operating at the current location 810 14th Street since 1990.

Since then Silver Dollar Pawn Exchange has grown into the most popular pawn business in Meridian. We operate a family oriented store with a helping hand spirit. We always put our customers first and believe in honest and fair trading, treating others as we would like to be treated.
